This submission of yours has helped me immensely regarding my attitude toward my cancer-related fatigue. Your writing is powerful. It gave me a new perspective in a cancer battle I won. But now, after winning twice, I am penalized by extreme fatigue. Your strong words give me hope. Thank you.

Yes sir. I am surprised how much better I physically and emotionally feel after reading “The Antidote to Despair.” Mind power. It feels good to know that even the Ancients struggled with such things as recovering from terrible illness and how they coped using their minds.

Struggle is meant to be felt and faced.

It tests your commitment, not your limits.

I needed this today. I needed the reminder that “the obstacle” often becomes the way “ and so there should be no complaints. Whatever you have to overcome often is the way to finding wisdom, and as Seneca believed, we don’t have time for complaining because we all have a short time to live. We use our obstacles to increase our wisdom, which is itself a lifelong endeavor.
