During hard times, i pick up 'The Consolation of Philosophy' by Boethius which really humbles me and diminishes my problem to something trivial cus' it is nothing compared to what Boethius went through.

Wise words! Thank you. I’ve recently shifted into truly getting this on a visceral level, having been through health and health care system challenges. They’ve actually turned out to be a wonderful crucible that’s given me clarity, peace, a backbone, and a way to help others. Life is much easier and more fun to navigate with this mindset intact.

Life’s beauty is in daily challenges. I realized this when I spent a month on vacation in a warm country earlier this year. The first two weeks were fun, then I got bored and ended up staying on my hotel room every afternoon reading and writing.
