The greatest gift we can bestow upon another is respect. It’s the key to overcoming our differences and rebuilding trust. Even better, it's a gift to ourselves too. Because when we’re willing to truly listen and respect the other, we might just find a friend for life. And the best part? Respect doesn’t cost a damn thing!
What amazes me about your writing is how these words just start appearing in my head as I read. I had the same with the Michelangelo part—‘the art of living a fulfilling life’ kept resonating throughout. I’m learning as I write, and somehow your work draws that out of me. You’re turning me into a poet! (And I kinda like it ;) Thank you.
Wow! I love that. I’m smiling as I read this. It takes one poet to know one :). Your comments are also quite substantial — I always look forward to reading them.

That’s true. Respect is a choice and we always have the power to fulfill it — because it’s the human thing to do.
